algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Intersecting a surface with a brep and having the surface blanket around the brep.

sorry for video quality, was using a recorder on a machine that is not mine :)

@David, its actually easier than I though it would be. Get the area of the surface and data record the centroid with a limit of 2. Then make vector 2 point between the two data items.

Nice! It looks like it registers the origin of the blanket surface and direction of movement in the surface point deformation...how do you achieve the surface's "memory" of its origin?

Yea. You just increase surface division point density and its fixed. I didnt do it on the video. As i just wanted to show the dragging motion

It's a cool exercise but I see there still are some problems. In some positions the "blanket" intersects the sphere.
