Creating a closed brep from surfaces to trim curves

Hi everyone,

I am trying to trim curves where they extend outside a collection of surfaces. To do this I am trying to use the trim command and I need to convert the surfaces into a closed brep. Does anyone know how to do this or if this doesn't work is there an alternative way to trim the curves?

Thanks!

Hello

it is more easy to post on discussion

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/categories/discussion-1/listForC...

not on blog. On blog just the author can put files.

But your problem is quite simple to solve. You generate an ellipsoid with a closes curve with an angle of rotation of 0 to 2*pi. So you have one surface touching itself. Not very good => very bad. Put 0 to PI. Then on brep join put a flatten not a graft. So wil have a single volume and trim with breps will output what you want.

Allways follow the flow of you definition, use "only draw preview geometry ..." . You must have seens that you ellipsoid has some strange graphic representation because of the 2 faces coincidents ...
