Min. task for grasshopper experiment

Church:

Create an Maximum extruded box based on site zoning.
Create all the spaces based on MIN. needs.
GH randomly put them into this box
GH then wrap them into a fluid mass

need to find out how to use GH on daily work

* does GH provide tools to generate some forms I can't do it in other ways?
* does GH help to brainstorm the solution?
* does GH simply my daily modeling work?

Currently I am reading "next generation Architecture" to get ideas regarding how other architects generate fluid form for his building idea.

I have class beginning on May 15.

Hi,

To build this tower I followed a tutorial on how to build a tower, on the video tutorial section in the Grasshopper site.

Then instead of using an elipse i used a pentagon as the plan geometry for the tower.

Listed witch one of the tower facade surfaces.

I made a random voronoi surface pattern in plan, and them I used mapping surface to apply it to the tower.

For the hexagonal pods, I evaluated the surface with a random number of points and them applied a morph box to witch one of them with the hexagonal pod.

have fun!
