algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Comment
Thanks for explaining the approach Michael!!
Amazing as always!
Thanks, Michael. I've got the point, have watched the video you provided, interesting approach. Did you make it with native GH components only or had to code something? I'm standing on a brink of learning a computer language.
Tim, It started exactly as this video I made. From this cut box the mesh vertices then had attractors were used to expand the vertices in specific locations to get some bulging. Then sine functions are applied to the vertices to make it wavy. Then a subtle twist algorithm is applied to all the vertices. Then each mesh face is turned into a pyramid for texture. Lastly, the mesh is smoothed over with weaverbird.
Are those tentacles? Always wandered how people do this type of abstract art, is it possible to demonstrate a workflow? (screenshot will do too)
Hahahaha! great reference :D
Thanks Ángel, for some reason I think of this line from wedding crashers "I made you a painting. I call it "Celebration." It's sexual and violent. I thought you might like it."
About the parametric work...amazing as always ;)
Awesome and disgusting at the same time. I feel contradictory feelings about it :P
