I use the marching cubes algorithm from Millipede to plot the model:

sin(x)cos(y)+sin(y)cos(z)+sin(z)cos(x)=0, from -7 to 7 in x, y, z, then trim the mesh model with a sphere. Also use Weaverbird to thicken the mesh.
