Hi

There are some things you have to be aware of:

1. 4-sided polygons are preferable

2. It is best to have no more than 3 edge intersections at the border of the T-Spline, if there are more than 3 it will try to make a kink which can cause undesired effects.
Thats why I made the flat part on the top here.

3. The hexagon can be sliced into 6 triangles with a star point in the middle, or 2 quads. Both ways work fine, although the last one gives some more directionality in the surface.

4. Lastly, be careful not to have any double lines, line fragments or lines very very close to being on top of each other. The rhino command Seldup is very handy, but sometimes you will have lines that are practically on top of each other but still out of the tolerance to be detected. So take some time checking the lines before running TsFromLines.

cool mate..can you explain the project of turning the surface into a tsplined surface so that it becomes smooth? I have t-splines but coudn't get how to do it..
