wow thanks for the lead!! i have mainly been working with wood and cutting techniques constraining to planar members, but am looking for ways to find design/fabrication chains that are suitable for sheet metal. i am very impressed with robofold - last i worked in rotterdam years ago at oosterhuis, where i got an intro to working with explosion forming.

real nice - great joining with the laser cut edges...nice website as well ;-) - have a look at http://curvedfolding.com, lots of developables there...
