Sorry, I didn't saw that your answered. 

At first yes, that was the premier second edition.

Then I join a picture of a definition, just use a cylinder as a brep.

Does it look of what you expected?

I think for the result you are expecting for, you should inspire from the page 82 of http://www.liftarchitects.com/storage/research/Grasshopper%20Primer...

And you create intersection between your surface and the tube...

From the way i see it, You'll have to do some work to patch up each surface. The projection will only work in 1 vector I believe.
