glad you like it! The first part of the definition creates on a surface based grid the width of the pillows. The second part controls the 3d shape (take the normals and elevate control points depending on the density). hope this helps!

i like the gradient flow of the overall surface and the local deformations which get propagated through the components. nice! Can you share a bit about how you're dealing with this?
