Thanks, everyone! Nick, it calculates intersections based on a supplied tolerance parameter, so you can specify how you want it to work, and then the hulling process sorts out the intersections between the curves:

Very impressive dude. What do you mean by calculated intersections? Do you mean the curves do not need to cross exactly, that the mesh creation will bulge around curves with close proximity?

I dont know if what i just described works in this method or if its just madness...
