Grillage Making

An updated take on a old theme:

A utility definition to create a grillage (waffle) surface for laser cutter fabrication. The orthographic cut planes can be rotated and individually spaced and shifted. An automated layout routine flattens all the sections and adds notches and labels. As of this v1.0 the grillage models only an extruded surface but I hope to improve on it.

Once I clean it up, I'll make this definition public as others might find it handy.

I am trying to figure out how to make a similar definition that helps create the form and the fabrication parts in 2d just like you have here. This is an image of what I am trying to create:

I tried to download your grille definition but the link didn't work... wisdom, I am a young grasshopper.

thanks
