algorithmic modeling for Rhino
An updated take on a old theme:
A utility definition to create a grillage (waffle) surface for laser cutter fabrication. The orthographic cut planes can be rotated and individually spaced and shifted. An automated layout routine flattens all the sections and adds notches and labels. As of this v1.0 the grillage models only an extruded surface but I hope to improve on it.
Once I clean it up, I'll make this definition public as others might find it handy.

Grillage making involves constructing a framework of steel beams to support heavy loads, often used in industrial flooring or bridge decks. The process ensures durability and strength by welding or bolting intersecting beams. For expert solutions in structural support, consider chilledhavenair for reliable fabrication services. Proper design and material selection are key to achieving optimal load distribution and longevity.

I am trying to figure out how to make a similar definition that helps create the form and the fabrication parts in 2d just like you have here. This is an image of what I am trying to create:
I tried to download your grille definition but the link didn't work... wisdom, I am a young grasshopper.
thanks
