Structure is around 4 kg (0.86 m² of 1 mm aluminium) 

but

glass is securit 10 mm glass 90 cm diameter so 15.9 kg.

whats the total weight of the aluminum frame? seems pretty sturdy for its thickness and slender structure.

Thanks, yes it could be used for some architecture thing like one of the last Marc Forbes project with sort of trees with bench around the trunk. I made a 3d model of a sort of tree. It is also p9ssible to put more layers to augment rigidity ... TBC

This is great! I remember seeing an older post from you with this kind of module and immediately saw the potential. Of course Mark Fornes's works comes to mind. Could be used for architectural scale projects too! And the shadow it casts is beautiful! Brilliant.
