ich appears in the video is related to "set iterations number" in your example?
2. only works the first example in your GHX def... the other get crashed when compiling into mesh component take a look on the screenshot, maybe its problem with GH version? i'm usin 8.051
3. The sliders that controls the "# of iterations" it has range 0 to 99999 but on my computer it only works from 0 to 15 ... that's correct???
thank you in advance!

ate the "base" ... load Rhino file fist.
2. This greatly reduced demo creates a Del Mesh "in real-time" (it's a very complex project that I'm after these days: 10 C# scripts work together to do ... something, he he) AND finds convex hull points as well, So it works "twice" but still is fast. In fact it's about 15 times faster than the very same thing that I did with Generative Components.
3. Again: NOT for your case but good fun (I believe). Obviously doing this for a couple of surfaces of yours ... it could yield also a real-time solution.…
StudioMode http://modelab.nu/?p=826. Instead of having the distance from the attractor directly affect the height I want to create a capping system that groups similar distances within the same height. For instance, if the length of the distance from specific points are less than 1 then their z height will all be set to 10. If the length of the distance from other points are between 1 and 2 then the z height will be 15 etc.
What I'm struggling with I think is first a data tree issue. When I feed the distance results into the points Z height it creates 400 z points. Ideally the point would have only one Z height.
The second issue I'm having is trying to figure out whether I need a boolean or a dispatch function in order to group sets of numbers together for a more uniform z height.
Thanks in advance.…
per to list how many boxes there are between a range of sizes - so how many of them are between 400-409mm?
2) I'd like to standardise them - so if we have 15 boxes that range between 400-409mm, I'd like to make them all 400mm.
So out of 400 boxes I'd like maybe 10 different, standardised types and a list of how many of each there are.
Obligatory screenshot of botched ghx.
Thanksss!

2. Modelo now supports VR! check out this video:
3. We've added a specular option in the rendering settings. So now you can have your design rendered a little bit shinny-er.
4. There is also a "filters" option in this panel, with which you can get some interesting image post processing effects. We are expanding this filter library, if you have any suggestions, please let us know.
5. This one is very important and has been requested by our customers for a long time. Now when you upload a model, you can grab the reviews(3d comments, screenshots, sketches) from your previously uploaded model! This works really conveniently if you use Modelo for your design review/presentation, cause you don't have to recreate the same 3d anchor views every time you made some changes to your design.
6. Also, our developer API is almost ready, which means if anyone is interested in developing a grasshopper plugin that works with Modelo, they can!
There are some many other updates and bug fixes happened. I don't want to list all of them here. Definitely stay subscribed with our newsletter. Modelo is thrived to grow into a more comprehensive platform! If you have any good ideas about our platform, please do not hesitate to let me know!

Someone knows how to solve this problem.
In attached you can find idf file, gh definition and the errors list.

2. At some stage I thought using this [in green]: splitting mesh against all planes (in fact tmp meshes made by these planes and the Box boundaries) at once:
but unfortunately this yields solid meshes NOT only related with the skin (i.e. divides the solid mesh into internal pieces as well) meaning that the initial idea: Split mesh with Plane is our only option: BTW since this Method it does not accept Arrays/Lists of "splitters" it requires some recursive iteration approach.
Shown the 1st recursive (against planes deployed along Z) mesh split (skin only: we don't need anything else):

mp; inspiring forum, I learnt a lot from you and you are motivating me to work harder to follow the Lb+Hb updates.
for my small wish list :)
- I wish that some of the simulations take less time, especially radiation analysis & comfort shade benefit evaluator, as I tried many v.good PCs to run them but it was difficult and the building was too simple to have all that time.
- for large scale & high rise buildings, I wish that we can have a simpler way to define them in HB, as I should build every zone as surfaces " walls, floors, ceiling " so I can have a thermal zone and get my results without errors. I know that's the right way to define the zone but it takes time, especially in the final performance evaluation of the building with all of its details.
- Recently, I was working on a large scale building consists of 4 stories with different design plans, but fortunately, I had a building block to copy and mirror and I found the Hbmirror & Hbmove very useful. I used it to move and mirror that block with many thermal zones which are moved with its names & I had some errors, I'm not sure that I used it in the right way. But I wish that there's a tool can help me copy or mirror thermal zones with its properties to make the process of defining the building's zones easier.
wish you all success, happiness & the best,

ve's length but the euclidean sort is ordering them by increasing x value (I think... I must confess I'm not 100% sure what a euclidean sort actually does :-( ). this works most of the time, but above a certain number of division points along the curve, this sort order is not right because the arc is more than 180degrees so, above a certain number of division points, the end points are not in the right order. You can see this in the example attached that the model works up to 15 division points and after that, the intersection points on the rear arc are in the wrong order to draw the polyline through. Watch the sweep rails end up the wrong length near the ends of the arch!Sweep2: This works if I pull out just the 2 rails and profile i want... you can change the index of the rails and profile from the lists and they work for each section of the arch but if i try to do all at once, nothing happens but I get no runtime errors. Why does it work one at a time, but not all at once?Further work: I want to take each sweep surface and flatten them - any ideas how to do this in GH?Then I want to lay the flattened surfaces out in a pattern on the x-y plane and apply an offset curve to them. The offset could be different in th x and y directions. To get this model to work, set the first curve in the GH file to the front arc in the Rhino file and the second curve in the GH file to the rear arc. Then make sure the file button points to wherever you save the rails.txt fileAny help or advice would be appreciated and I hope you find this interesting! Thanks!…
