it we thought our stands will be made with a fixed depth (80 or 90 cm) and incremental heights like 30-32-34-36...cm, and that is the list you have to supply.
The script will iterate over the different possible measures until it finds the smallest one that complies with your desired C value, but it wont be the exact, just the best approximation within your list.
2. Changing this also depends on the combinations of riser height and depth you provide, if you enter 1m and 1m in both lists you will get an 45º slope.
Anyway, getting a fixed-c value script would be easier (much easier than what is already there) but IMO it wouldn't have a direct application in real stadiums unless you are ready to make each stand different from the rest, discarding any pre-cast solution.

To use it... in a basic way:
Input 0. Plug geometry.
Input 1. Set target resolution, actually it refers to the mesh edge length.
Optional input 2 and 3. Sets anchors (as points or curves) for the remeshing not escape of these parts.
Input penultimate. Number of iterations. Here are two ways, the living form, you set a low value (as 5 or 10) of iterations and plug in a timer component (that allows you to see the remesh process); or just add the total number of iterations (I generally use 80, but its relative).
The last input, set false to turn it on, true to turn it off.

After that, I want to separate it into 5 different lists in spesific thickness.
in this case of 0-100 so it would be :
1. if the distance 0 - 20 then the thickness is 5
2. if the distance 21 - 40 then the thickness is 10
3. if the distance 41 - 60 then the thickness is 15
4. if the distance 61 - 80 then the thickness is 20
5. if the distance 81 - 100 then the thickness is 25
But, the problem is the list of distance isn't static between 0-100. It could be 5 - 250 / 3.5-175/etc.....
Could you help me how to make the expression?? Is this possible if I make one expression?

I'm trying to use and understand the Dragonfly_Boundary_Layer_Parameters block, whose parameter setting seems to have a huge impact on the UHI results. In particular the nightBndLayerHeight parameter. First of all, the default value in the doc (800m) does not correspond to the one in the code (80m). After having set it at 800m with a constant block, the RunUWG component doesn't run until the end, giving the following error message : "Error in ReferenceSite/VerticalDifussionModel (line 141) / Error in xml_new (line 394)". It seems that some combinaisons of nightBndLayerHeight / referenceHeight work (80 / 100 or 800 / 800) and others not (800 / 100).
Does that comes from the model preparation? Or the UWG algorithm itself?
I tried to find for some "tables" linking these weather layers to the different urban typologies... without success. Would have someone ref / paper recommandations?

Perhaps a "clinch pin" that temporarily cuts down the flow from a all the items in a data tree to a single item that can be used for testing with the component It would be easy enough to add an list item component but adding and then deleting all the extra components can become messy in itself.

The Weaver Bird plug-in has several methods for subdividing and smoothing a mesh including the probably best known method Catmull-Clark as well as laplacian smoothing.
Although Grasshopper is becoming better at handling mesh construction and modelling you might want to consider packages such as 3ds Max, Maya, Modo or Blender for doing the initial cage (they all have most of the standard tools one would except from a polygon modeller). For Rhino there is also the funky fusion between subdivision surfaces and NURBS called T-Splines (gave it a spin a few weeks back, has some pretty decent polygon modelling tools actually).…

But there is much scope for improvements in the implementation of model importing/exporting in all software. This is also why I decided to develop a Revit Addon (I can reuse 80 to 90% of my existing c# code) to import the data within this environment. But again this enabling workflows from all the software above plus Rhino/Grasshopper into Revit.
Certainly I think the work of the others is impressive and in areas I haven't really broached yet. But given demand for these aspects I will certainly be looking at it.

I changed it and things are clearer, yet now I became intrigued by a discrepancy between what is reported by the "conditionOfPerson" and the "percentOfTimeComfortable" outputs. At first glance would seem that they are reporting the same thing in different manner, but they both provide different outcomes (See pic).
Why is that the case?
Shouldn´t the "conditionOfPerson" output had to incorporate the values within the threshold of 80 or 90% (in case that is not happening)?
Any comments?...
PD: The AdaptiveComfortChart doesn´t provide any output data. Not that I wan´t to rush any one out to fix it, but I just want to report it.
