s. so you can use your phone or tablet to control grasshopper with touch sensitive sliders . the app right now is super simple and only has sliders. i am going to expand that to also send you phones extra data (gyro, light sensor...)
at this point i have the app working for android and have compiled for ios but have not tested it (i do not own an iphone but a much better and opensource friendly android)
here is a video and some screen shots.
i can give the mac/pc version out now for people to play with but the android version i need to do more testing and setup an account in the market.
the app just sends the data over UDP and in the video you will see i just use ghowl to grab the info but i am finishing a custom plugin to handle the udp data. since the app is just transmiting over udp you can use this also for processing, arduino or anything that reads a udp packet.
**also note the interface is a little raw and i will be updating that to be nicer

s than 40% on average.2. 8gb usage is steady at 28% 3. I've been now looking at 2 blank white screen, in both Rhino and Grasshopper for well over 20 min. finally I went for a walk at 10:25am, (its a beautiful day why waste it looking at nonexistent calculations, It would help if there was a timing function in the code that would let me know how long the calculations were going to take, came back 11:25am still no results. Had to Quit Rhino in the Start manager.
I have used all sorts of window programs for well over 25 years. Rhino and Grasshopper are the only 2 programs that I have ever seen that show totally white screens in their operating windows :(

input to True, and read the "optimalTilt" output. That is your optimal tilt.
The higher the number you set to "precision_" input (from 2 to 100), the more precise the final "optimalTilt" output will be. Try not to set it to a value larger than 50, if your PC is not somewhat stronger.…
s to get lost and the only way to get it back is by closing both the app and rhino on the pc... Is this a know issue?
Is there a way, as on the ipad, to control your cursor using the iphone? Any quick/hidden menu or so available for that?
Anyway, I really appreciate the work on this! Has a huge amount of potential!…
port.
In my case, I downloaded arduino installer again from arduino website, then I chosen correct port that "control panel > device and printer > Arduino Uno > choose correct COM".
Finally, I could enjoy arduino and firefly!
Thank you Andy!…
which doesn't exist in the actual problem spec. If galapagos is allowed to change the column position in all possible directions, it is less likely to get stuck in some local optimum.
Let's assume that (all other things being equal) column 20 would yield the best possible answer. The current state of the system though is at column 26, which is pretty good too, just not as good. Galapagos is more likely to 'mutate' the state a little bit instead of a lot, so it'll explore the columns near 26. However 20 isn't near 26 at all, only 25 and 27 are nearby, and maybe 24 and 28. But they'll all worse answers, so after sampling in those directions GP will abandon that as fruitless.
If however you specify the columns using two variables, then the columns near 26 are 20, 25, 27 and 32. That's a far richer space to explore which much better approximates the real problem.…
o luck so far. I get the same error every time. I am attaching a print screen. Thanks to anyone who makes an effort

at your original list of numbers, if I am to go through and check manually to see what I should be getting out, I think you should only get a few outputs (which is why I was confused by all the outputs at the end of the definition.
For example, just as an example I started with X1 as 279 (item index 11). When I did the math, the only indexes that I got were 15,28, and 33.
This is because:
since 279 is positive, look for next number that is at least 180 less or 360 more than X1.
the value of 78 (item index 15) is the first value to satisfy this requirement.
Then, since 78 is smaller than 279, we are looking for the next value at least 180 more or 360 less than 78.
The value 272 (item index 28) is that next value.
Then since 272 is larger than 78, we are looking for the next value at least 180 less or 360 more than 272.
The value 52 (item index 33) is the next value.
So the definition should output the following:
indexes 15, 28, 33.
Does that make sense?…

on?). I've been able to install the last one (9.2), now I've got problem in finding the UWG installer (can't find a "download" button on the page you linked). I contacted last week the developer because on the download page it was saying "UWG code available upon request" but I still didn't get any answer...
