algorithmic modeling for Rhino

ERROR loading Grasshopper on Windows 8

Hallo guys,

two weeks ago I installed windows 8, and since than, re-installed different versions of it over the time. I have tried 3 times (on 3 different win8 installations) to run Grasshopper, but no luck so far. I get the same error every time. I am attaching a print screen. Thanks to anyone who makes an effort

P.S. My PC is running now Windows 8 Enterprise N RTM x64 Build 9200

This is the same error message as the C++ 2005 Runtimes loading error that you get on XP, VISTA, and Win7 when running Rhino 4. Either you can circumvent the issue by installing Rhino 5 or you can try following this link and applying the solutions there. http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/loading-error-unable-to-l...

EDIT: It would be nice if you could let us know the results for future reference about Win8 :)

Installed vcredist_x64 than vcredist_x86 and it ran like a boss :) thanks!
