This time i've used small box shaped building, and drag & drop all my components instead of copying from the old file. I have a warning message from Honeybee Run E+ report which is same as below.

Don't know whats the problem is but my guess is the version of energy plus V8_2_7? Cause the Honeybee_Honeybee component is the one you modified for Energy PlusV8_2, not from the original downloading directory.One thing I've observed is when i boolean toogle E+ simulation on, the calculation windows pops up and disappears so quick. I'm not sure its working properly.
What should i do next to make it work? I can uninstall my rhino and everything or installing it on other computer to check if it works...

For example there's a grid shell and I've got a number of control points (for example 3) that can move up and down.
Depending on the control points I get forms that are structurally good and some that are bad.
In my office we've got a GH-Component, which leads the geometry in structural members and solves the structural forces and so on through an external Software called Sofistik and afterwards gives back to GH some Values, for example maximum bending moments. (Like Karamba)
Now I want to create this optimization component or something like that to minimize e.g. the bending moments in the given geometry.
Let's start with the work of the component.
So when I've three control points that can only move in z-direction.
P1(0,0,Z1), P2(10,0,Z2), P3(5,5,Z3)
They only depend on Z, so everything depends on Z1 to Z3 which have a range between 0 and 10 f.e.
First I want to get some (between 9 and 15) random Particles, one particle consists of this 3 different Z's.
So for example the first particle Part1 is [Z1=10, Z2=5, Z3=7]
and the second particle Part2 is [Z1=7, Z2=1, Z3=9]
and so on.
I created these Start Particles in a Cluster. See attached file.
I also tried this in C#, but thought it is easier in GH.
After I've got the Start Particles I want to give out the first particle and evaluate with its including Z's the target value in GH. Therefore I had to take the first branch and graft this branch (Discussion before)
Afterwards I want to save this Target Value that depends on the first starting Particle. Then I want to give out the second starting Particle to evaluate its target Value and store it. And so on till the last target Value of the last Starting Particle got assigned.
Then I want to assign the particles with its target values. E.g. part1: t=0.9, part2: t=1.8...
Then I want to define neighborhoods or the count of the expected local minima.
These neighborhoods can look like: Each neighborhood has to include not less than 3 particles. And the particles have to be next to each other.
E.g. if there are 12 particles and I want to have a look for 3 local minima, I need 3 or 4 neighborhoods. Then I would take 3 neighborhoods, because the more particles in one neighborhood, the better.
So the Count of the neighborhoods would be N=min{(Count of Part/3)& N_min}
How to define these neighborhoods I don't know at the moment. I think it has to be searched for the distance between the particles. E.g. part1 with (9,9,9) and part2 with (9,9,8) are next to each other but part 3 with(1,1,2) is far away.
Then each StartParticle is set to Partx_localbest.
And in each Neighbourhood the best of these localbeststs is Part_NyBest. (The best ist the one with the smallest target Value)

Now I want to create new Particles. These Particles don't change their Z-values randomly. They change their Z-Values depending on Part_NxBest and Part_localBest. Therefore it has to be evaluated a new velocityfactor with v_Partx_new=0,792*v_PartxOld+1,5*random(0,1)*(partx_localbest-partx)+1,5*random(0,1)*(part_NyBest-partx)
The new particles will then be partx_new=partx+v_Partx_new.
The new Particle partx_new will be set to partx and then set in the output.
then there has to be caught the targetValue of part1 afterwards part2 can be put out and its target value caught and so on.
Then it has to be looked for the Partx_localbest through comparing the partx_localbest and its target value with the new part_x and its target value. If the target value of the new partx is smaller than partx_localbest,
then partx_localbest is the new partx.
This has to be done for each partx. Afterwards the same for neighborhoods best (best of all partx_localbest in one neighborhood)
Endloop if velocity gets small.
Output all part_NxBest
Output all targetvalues of the part_NxBests.
So in the Input there have to be:
StartParticles if they are given through the cluster attached.
Device on the target Value like in the attached gh.file from David Rutten I found in the discussions
Count of neighborhoods
And in the output
Output particle for evaluation

For more explanation, how the PSO works in other programs. There’s attached a workflow script (is it called like that?) I think for GH it should be a little bit changed like I tried in my explanations.

hen 6 triangles meet at a vertex. You can create double curvature by having a valence 5 (positive curvature, like a sphere), or 7 (negative curvature "saddle shape").
Such meshes were studied by Alain Lobel in the 1980's (maybe even before that). There is a paper mentioning them in the proceedings of AAG2014. Repetition of panels is also studied here, with the use of clustering, which can be very efficient.
You can look at the SMART Clustering plug-in developped by Buro Happold, I've never tried it, but it looks interesting and maybe suited for what you're aiming for.

P.S: If you are interested in repetition, you can also look at repetition of members (e.g. constant length) or repetition of nodes. Most of the research deals with repetition of panels, but repetition of nodes could be also interesting because they are much more difficult to fabricate than panels. Two references about node repetition: one for a specific family of shapes with high node congruence , and the other on the use of hyperbolic geometry for 3-valent meshes.

Ladybug + Honeybee
Ladybug and Honeybee are open source environmental plugins for Grasshopper that help architects and engineers create an environmentally-conscious architectural design.
Ladybug imports standard EnergyPlus Weather files (.EPW) into Grasshopper and provides a variety of 3D interactive graphics to support the decision-making process during the initial stages of design. The plugin also provides further support for designers as they test their initial design options with radiation, sunlight-hour, and shading analyses. Integration with Grasshopper allows for an almost instantaneous feedback and, since the plugin runs within the design environment, the information and analyses are interactive.
Honeybee connects Grasshopper3D to EnergyPlus, Radiance, Daysim and OpenStudio for building energy and daylighting simulation. The Honeybee project intends to make many of the features of these simulation tools available in a parametric way. Just as users have made changes to geometry for years in Grasshopper, now users can parameterize system types, zoning schemes, schedules of operation, daylight sensor placement and controls - all of the “hardcore” simulation parameters that have never been exposed to parametric modeling tools.

updater successfully, but then the newest components don't work. try running the updater again and it says that the update is already installed.
Resolution:
Step 1-(If in windows, you will need modify your folder view to include "show hidden files, folders and drives" to see all the folders in this path.)
Navigate to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\Plug-ins\PanelingTools {6CAED836-BC06-4EBC-B1FD-E10886A0DC94}\2012.4.30.1332\(32 bit or 64 bit, whichever is appropriate for your machine).
NOTE: The folder name has the date. The current working version I am using is in the folder listed above) I have found that the updater sometimes does "repoint" rhino to the newest version. (that will be step 2).
There should be 3 files in this folder:(the modified date on the files should be 5/4/2012)

PanelingToolsDotNet.dll
PT_SDK.dll
Right click on each of the files individually and choose properties. If there is an "Unblock" button, click it to unblock the file. Check each of the 3 files. (if the "Unblock" button is not there, then you can go to step 2).
STEP 2:
Open rhino and go to the plugin manager. scroll down to paneling tools, right click and choose properties. The file path at the bottom of the properties page should point to your folder path you verified in step 1. I have found that in some cases, after running the updater, the plugin path is still pointing to the previous version. If that is the case, close rhino, go back to the folder path in step 1 and delete any older versions, (only keep the folder 2012.4.30.1332).
Re-open rhino and reload the correct version of the plug in. After successful loading, you should have a Paneling Tools drop down you Rhino menu bar.
The above steps have only verified that the correct version of paneling tools is loaded in rhino.
STEP 3:
Download the latest PTComponentLibrary.gha and place it in your Grasshopper components folder, (delete/remove any previous instances of PTComponentLibrary.gha.)
(From within grasshopper, choose File->Special Folders->Components Folder)
Once you copy it into that folder, right click on the file and choose properties. Make sure to "Unblock" that file as well.
close and re-open rhino. launch grasshopper. You hopefully have a paneling tools tab in your grasshopper toolbars.
I don't know if this is exactly your case, but for that was the solution path for a few folks in our studio that seemed to work.

3.maybe it is because my country has yet to use the softwares you mentioned, I am pretty sure they are used by engineer, since my practice is only architectural work, we always collaborate with the engineer to get the job done (by collaborate, I mean passing on the job to the engineer, and then we just let them handle all the stuff, the sad news is architect and designers doesnt get paid much to deal with those)
in contrast with your software, me and my team use Rhino,GH,3dsmax, and Zbrush-- these are standard package you got after u graduate from any arch.college. the level of detail I produce in my modelling is not as "heavy" as yours because the client I face every week only worries about the appearance of the building, as well as convenience in terms of planning, efficiency, and cost control over the design.
I am surprised you don't use REVIT or ArchiCAD? they are the standard for BIM documentation.
4.well, subdiv modeling is one of my fave. (That is why Tspline is my fave tool in rhino, to sketch out the model that I want, however it depends on the type of geometry you are after, for "solid modelling" I prefer Subdiv modelling rather than standard NURBS )

6.I disagree, I think Rhino needs a TOP rendering software as part of rhino system itself. to make it at least on par with 3dsmax. rhino isn't built for restrictive use like CATIA, so its purpose is for "MODELLING and VISUALIZATION". at the moment we only see the "MODELLING" part.

10.I saw a post the other day,David said he intended GH to be algorimtic modelling instead of parametric, and GH is like a swiss army knife, it has thousands of tools to do general job, but it requires 3rd party member (we call it add-on) to extend its uses. Id prefer GH to have much broader function to encourage people to expand its wings
