how to solve the problem with these sticks moving around all three axes?
You can find my finished project: http://m4h.hyperbody.nl/index.php/Msc1G7:Expert1
In the end I faked it, after trying for a long time, never thought about asking here.
The first GH file is the most useable, the one I used in the end is more developed then this but it's really messy and hard to clean up (though I will do it if someone wants to help me)
The second is an early sketch, easier overview,
The third one is messy but also has some ideas in it, don't think its helpful but just for the sake of it attached.

Specifically point number 3. The Latest Activity feed keeps going back to February for me. This happens across devices and appears to occur more or less randomly.
ction to a new sheet it runs properly...
Is it known that sort points isn't reliable?
Is it a decimal error? As in pos. 2 is 0.00000000001 closer than 3 in x?This could only be the case if when I internalise data it rounds the number, which isn't the case ?…

try at the perpendicular planes.
All the data lists seem to be properly matched up and the points seem be listed in the correct order, but the script is working only if the polyline is not closed and I am trying to wrap all the way around. Also, in either case the corners are not working.
Hopefully someone knows how to get past this. I've posted the script below and the screenshots hopefully explain where the problem lies.
Thanks for any help!

I want to use them all in my presentation but I also want to tweak their size and some text, so I go and bake it for AI. For some reason component bakes only 2 diagram and returns error:
1. Solution exception:index out of range: 0
As you can see direct radiation wan not baked, please check the component or let me know if I screwed something up.
I updated LB the day before yesterday.

eight, but it seems that i cant seem to make it work.
As I understand the component below has to create the a panel type per row (or storey), or am I misunderstanding the function of it. If yes how can I specify the panel type per floor? Should the surface that I am applying the panels be divided as well?
On a side note, is it also possible to specify panel type per orientation (north, east, etc)?

s that I just can't quite figure out.
Zoom in of the lower left hand corner...
1. First off, I am not sure why two versions of the rectangles are showing, the original and the scaled versions from the image. This doesn't appear to be affecting my final results, so not a big deal, but would like to understand why there are two and get rid of the original rectangles if possible.
2. I would like to change the scaling factor of the the rectangles in the Y direction. They are currently scaling too small based on the image I provided. Is there a way to set a lower value minimum so that the rectangles are not quite so small. Please not that I am only wanting to scale the rectangles in the Y direction. I want the X to currently remain constant.
3. Lastly, I would like to offset the grid points in the y direction randomly so that the image does not seem so gridded. These should shift no more than 3/8 of the distance between the grid from the center point.
Desired Result:
Any help is greatly appreciated!…

country and in particular London. Point clouds are available online and perhaps there could be a way that they inform the building heights. I have been exploring the following process:
1. the mesh produced with the point clouds. Rather accurate but using the delaunay meshing, the shapes are very rough and dented.
2. I populate the mesh on GH.
3. Using Gismo 2D shapes, I test for point inclusion for each shape and find the highest point. Its height (z) extrudes the 2D shape.
4. The result is very convenient in many cases, though it is not easy to control which shape is extruded to the eighest point as larger polygons could contain smaller ones.
I am still looking for a way to filter more the OSM shape component so that the 2D shapes are strictly buildings.Although the LIDAR files are rather very heavy, perhaps there would be an automated way to query the databases with GISMO.Food for thoughts.
