in this case of 0-100 so it would be :
1. if the distance 0 - 20 then the thickness is 5
2. if the distance 21 - 40 then the thickness is 10
3. if the distance 41 - 60 then the thickness is 15
4. if the distance 61 - 80 then the thickness is 20
5. if the distance 81 - 100 then the thickness is 25
But, the problem is the list of distance isn't static between 0-100. It could be 5 - 250 / 3.5-175/etc.....
Could you help me how to make the expression?? Is this possible if I make one expression?

genetic algorithm requires a lot of iterative calculations, but the computing power needed for analyzing structural models is very huge, and it also takes much time. Problem 01: the requested in-put of 'CroSecs' from 'OptiCroSec' component, based on introduction of itself, "a list of preferable structural thickness", and the algorithm will automatically find the sufficient number as the beam thickness. BUT, when I plugged 3 ranges, 1 to 15 CM, 2 to 15 CM, 5 to 15CM, the algorithm will always choose the finest number as the beam thickness, which turns out the beam thickness is, 1CM, 2CM, 5CM. 5CM in reality 'maybe' correct, but I just cannot image 1 and 2 CM beam will work. That`s very confusing.
Problem 02: the 'MaxDisp' from 'OptiCroSec' component, no matter how I slide the number, shape will remain still always. what is the fucntion of this input, should it be like a control to deformation of the shape?

nside' the OnLine variable. It is instead stored somewhere else in memory, and the OnLine variable only contains the address of this chunk of far-away memory. In other words, it contains not the value, but a reference to the value.
So when I say:
Dim ln As New OnLine()
then the computer creates a new OnLine instance (the 6 numbers) somewhere deep down in the RAM, and ln merely holds the address of this instance.
When I call a function that takes an OnLine as an input, it is in fact given an address, meaning that any changes to the OnLine from within the function can have far reaching effects:

To all of us like games. There are many ways to make it, and isn't something that takes a long time. Essentially only need a good idea.
Therefore, if you want to participate, you will be subject to these rules:
1. You must publish the Grasshopper definition, without cluster with passwords. 2. Can not compete with a file already published. 3. May judge the whole community, but once finished the date of delivery and they must follow these bonuses:
- Playability. More entertaining, better.
- Originality. Classic, modern or new games adapted to Gh. - Divergence. Thinking differently, usual components used for other reasons. - Master. If you learn from its definition, reward it. - Simplicity. Not necessarily less components, rather a clear logic.
- Smoothness. Should be quick, no need to rent a supercomputer.
The deadline is November 30. From 1 to December 15, all we can score / value, with 3, 2 and 1 points to the first, second and third respectively. Who has the highest score on 16, wins the challenge.
