i tried different weather file but also same result. it seems i have same problem. the file am working on is the radiation file i took from the examples . whats seems to be the problem?
thank you for your time…
Like you've done. Use List Item and input an integer which represents the curve you want to select. Your slider will need to be able to handle integers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 since you have 6 curves.
Maybe with numbers it would be easier to understand.
If there is 1 insert to the list 5
If there is a 5 insert to the list 6 or 4
So if i start from 1 one possible list would be: {1, 5, 6}
hink you need recursion to modify the random seed; many other ways to accomplish that (use the length of each curve as the seed, for example).
Using multiples of twelve makes it harder for me to grasp the essence of the matter; another way of looking at it is that you want to generate random integers from 2 to 5 (24,36, 48 and 60) and have them add up exactly to curve lengths of 5 (x12=60), 9 (x12=108) or 14 (x12=168).
So you want to generate random numbers until their sum ('Mass Addition') plus 5 is equal to or greater than the curve length (5, 9 or 14). The last number in the series is then not random but just the difference between the two.
For example, for curve length = 5 (x12=60), there are only three possible numbers that can be used as the first in the sequence: 2, 3 or 5. If it's 5, you're done. If it's 2, the second number is 3 (5-2), if it's 3, the second number is 2 (5 - 3). You can't use '4' at all because the remainder, 1 (x12=12) isn't one of your solution options.
There is no point in generating the last number randomly, eh?
P.S. You didn't use 'Internalize data' for the 'Curve (Crv)' param in your GH file.…

now I want to combine some branches together ,the rule is : For path{2} contain number 2 and 5, then conbine the two paths together ,and for path{5} includes only 2&5,no other number ,so it's end .For path{3}, includes number 3&6 ,so we go to path{6}, path{6} includes 3&6&18, then wo go to path{18} , path{18} contains a new number 27, so we check path{27} ,path{27} includes only 27&18, no new numbers ,so it is end.
With this logic, path{2}&{5} become one tree finally , the contains is 2&5 ,and so path{3}&{6} &{18} &{27}(the contents is 3,6,18,27), and so others .
so what I want is:
{2}(2,5)+{5}(2,5)={2/5/anything}(2,5) ## the new path index doesnot matter{3}(3,6)+{6}(3,6,18)+{18}(18,27)+{27}(27,18)={3/6/18/27/?}(3,6,18,27) ``````etc
I tried path mapper, but I donot think it can do the trick this time. may be I just miss something very visible?? Awaiting for your kind help~Thanks in advance.…
rated by "<" symbols. Examples: "2<10", "2<4<10", "Pow(2, 1)<5*Sin(3)<10".
The entered text contains 2 or 3 segments separated by two or more consecutive dots. Examples "2..10", "2..4..10", "Pow(2, 1)....5*Sin(3)..10".
If only two segments are provided, then the initial value will be the same as the minimum value. If a bounds number or a default value is written as a simple number, then the number of decimal places will be harvested. I.e. "2..4..10" is not the same as "2..4..10.00" as the former will result in an integer slider and the latter in a slider with two decimal places.
