our example file you use key name (such as my : MyEquation )
then you use Equation > (x^2 + (9*y^2)/4 + z^2 - 1)^3 - x^2*z^3 -((9*(y^2)*(z^3))/80)
where do you find all those goodies ?? all those expressions and equations
thnx…

appendalltext. What other ways could a text file be written (with string list or on3dpoint lists) so that the entire text file is rewritten once with any input change (deleting the previous)?
Sub RunScript(ByVal path As String, ByVal x As Double, ByVal y As Double, ByVal z As Double, ByVal vx As Double, ByVal vy As Double, ByVal vz As Double)
Dim xround As Double = Math.Round(x, 5)
Dim yround As Double = Math.Round(y, 5)
Dim zround As Double = Math.Round(z, 5)
Dim vxround As Double = Math.Round(vx, 5)
Dim vyround As Double = Math.Round(vy, 5)
Dim vzround As Double = Math.Round(vz, 5)
Dim ptsstring As String = Convert.ToString(xround & " " & yround & " " & zround & " " & vxround & " " & vyround & " " & vzround)
Print(ptsstring)
Dim appendText As String = ptsstring + Environment.NewLine
File.AppendAllText(path, appendText)
' Open the file to read from.
Dim readText As String = File.ReadAllText(path)
Console.WriteLine(readText)
End Sub…
f points together and divide by the total number of points -->
{(X1+X2+X3+X4+X5)/5, (Y1+Y2+YE+Y4+Y5)/5, (Z1+Z2+Z3+Z4+Z5)/5}
Since the points are grouped into one single point parameter, and I am able to separate the x, y, and z components into 3 groups using "point decompose", but the question is, how do I add the x components together, then y components then z components?
Is there a way to do so? or is there another way to find the centroid of a group of points?
Thanks so much.

ndex of the list you want to draw from for that index number.
4. graft the new list of integers
5. use the list item component, with the merged grafted lists into L, and the new list of integers into i.
6. flatten the resulting list.
Example:
list A: list B: list C:
100 200 300
101 201 301
102 202 302
103 203 303
104 204 304
Integer List:
0
0
2
1
2
list item component returns:
100
101
302
203
304
I hope this is clear enough - and close enough to what you were trying to do.

lipede on both Rhino 4 and 5?
So far I have it only on 5 as i am using the 64 bit version, do I need to always switch between the two gha files in my component folder?
-I am trying to understand how to use the Isosurface component but struggle to find what a "3D grid resolution" is. Is it the x,y,z parameters of a f(x,y,z) function?
If i have a random list of points in space (which did not come from a function), how do I extract their resolution?
Many thanks,
Arthur…
