y 26, 2012. Loop_3 is the installation done by a group of students to carry a selection of pictures and models from past year's projects.
The project was entirely developed and engineered with Rhinoceros and Grasshopper (using Kangaroo and MeshEdit plugins plus a couple of custom components)

be done easier, but later on the geometry will change and therefore this seems the better option. But coming back to the problem
First, there were some problems concerning the zone, although it seems solved still the “runenergysimulation” gives the following warning:
1. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
** Severe ** UpdateZoneSizing: Cooling supply air temperature (calculated) within 2C of zone temperature
Do one of you know what went wrong? It probably will solve most of it.
Second, “set Zone Thresholds” gives the following warning:
1. Solution exception:global name 'maxHumidity_' is not defined
However, the component is missing the max humidity input on the list, has this to do something with the error?
All the components are up to date.
I hope it will be an easy fix.

d Design workshop is a two day intensive workshop, exploring the new KingKong plugin for Grasshopper. The software simuates curved folding, and offers simple attractor functions to modulate an array of folded panels on a surface. The focus will be on building simulations of folding inspired by physical folding, and the comtrol of complex arrangements of panels, which will be realised with the CraftROBO vinyl cutter.
Day 1 - AM: Material Computation - intuitive techniques for designing shapes foldable by robots
Day 2 - PM: Folding Design - digitise fold patterns and use the KingKong plugin to simulate folding, design arrangements of panels with the attractor system, using differnet grid types, using different surface types, fill/empty feature, live baking feature
Day 3 - AM: Fabrication Data - refining the design for fabrication, outputing data
Day 4 - PM: Panel Assembly - cutting on the CraftROBO vinyl cutter, assembly of components
Two more dates in April and May.

As a special event you can switch between the events at a basic coffee seminar "Coffee - from the plant to the cup" part. Coffee Museum in Austrian society and economy museum was founded by Edmund Mayr, who injected together with Arch Wilhelm Holzbauer, the increase of the flak tower in Esterhazy Park. His passion for collecting are also due to the many exhibits that he has collected from all over the world. Additionally Mag. Just shows a quick roundup of "100 Years of Life and Living in Vienna" and how the inventions of Dr. Carl Auer von Welsbach changed the world significantly.

This Parametric Design course will provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and ability to use Grasshopper, a free visual programming plugin in Rhinoceros; you will be guided through a series of hands-on exercises that highlight NURBS modeling and its concepts. We will introduce Grasshopper as a graphical algorithm editor tightly integrated with Rhino’s 3D modeling tools. You will also learn how Rhino is used to render models for visualization, translate 3D models for prototyping, and export 3D models into 2D CAD or graphics programs.
English is the course main language.
