am however having a problem with something simple - limiting a set of values between a fixed set that I need help with please?
For example, I'd like to transform this list . . .
(2, 16, 4, 65, 12, 41, 7, 1, 22)
into this one . . .
(5, 16, 5, 25, 12, 25, 7, 5, 22)
i.e. selecting all numbers below 5 and changing them to 5 and selecting all numbers above 25 and changing them to 25.
I know it's possible with a simple If, Not, Then series but I'm rubbish at code!
Also, is there a simple way to apply dimensions to rhino objects from within GH?
Thanks for your help!
Cheers
James…
, but was not installing the driver, because when I browsed for the ArduinoUno.inf driver, it did not list the individual files, but only the folders. Then, instead of browsing I wrote the address of the location of the Arduino Driver that was in the appropriate directory in the device manager window, and it worked by generating a new port called Com#5. I uploaded the FirmataUno file from the IDE and the uploading was successful, since the TX light at the board was turned on. According to what the tutorial says, I assume I am connected to Arduino now.
I have another question though, since I am a first time user.... I bought an Arduion Uno Starter Kit (from AMAZON) that has a USB Cable, a solderless board, the Arduino Uno Board and 65 Jumper wires. However, According to the tutorial there seem to be other devices, such as resistors, led sensors etc... What other things do I need to play with Arduino? Where can I buy them from? Can you advise?
thanks and best,
Skender…

2:同じファンクション内のdist = rs.Distance(self.pos,b.pos)についてですが

The most common plastic materials used as agricultural films are the low density polyethylene (LDPE, with a density less than 0.93 kg m−3), the copolymer of ethylene and vinyl-acetate (EVA)
Also here you can find the characteristics of the flexible materials for greenhouse covers (adapted from CPA, 1992 and Tesi, 2001) as much as i get.
UV-PE Film ( UV-PE~ polyethylene Long life or UV)
Thickness (mm) = 0.18
Direct PAR transmissivity (%) = 90
Diffuse PAR transmissivity (%)= 86
Long-wave IR transmissivity (%)= 65
EVA Film ( EVA~Ethylene vinyl-acetate copolymer)
Thickness (mm) = 0.18
Direct PAR transmissivity (%) = 90
Diffuse PAR transmissivity (%)= 76
Long-wave IR transmissivity (%)= 27
and here you will find the global heat transfer coefficient’ (K in W m−2 °C−1) for the above greenhouse covering materials, measured under normalized conditions (temperatures: exterior: −10°C, interior: +20°C, wind: 4 m s−1). (Source: Nisen and Deltour, 1986.)
Cover Clear sky Overcast Sky
Single PE 8.8-9.0 7.1- 7.2
Single EVA 7.8 6.6
Note : the PAR radiation (photosynthetically active or photoactive radiation and its the amounts to 45–50% of the global radiation; Berninger, 1989)
The name PAR is used to designate the radiation with wavelengths useful for plant photosynthesis. It is accepted that the PAR radiation ranges from 400 to 700 nm (McCree, 1972), although some authors consider the PAR from 350 to 850 nm.
The composition of the radiation changes with time, as a function of the Sun’s elevation and the cloudiness. When the Sun is low over the horizon, the short wavelengths are reduced (less UV and more red). The clouds reduce the amount of energy, greatly decreasing the NIR.
The PAR proportion in relation to the global radiation increases with scattering (diffusion). It is lower with clear sky and in the summer (45–48%).

nto a max deviation from the original geometry of 0.015 (I don't know if this is acceptable) and speeds up the projection by approx 65% and the splitting by more than 80%.
Regarding the long times, it seems that after a certain amount of holes the solution time increases at a higher rate - for example cutting 100 holes takes about 1 seconds, while cutting 800 holes takes more than 2 minutes.
You could split the 30000 holes in smaller groups (using domains and sublists), calculate the resulting geometry, bake it and use it as the base geometry for the next cutting operation - it's a bit tedious but much more reliable IMO than having a computer working for days.

be done easier, but later on the geometry will change and therefore this seems the better option. But coming back to the problem
First, there were some problems concerning the zone, although it seems solved still the “runenergysimulation” gives the following warning:
1. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
** Severe ** UpdateZoneSizing: Cooling supply air temperature (calculated) within 2C of zone temperature
Do one of you know what went wrong? It probably will solve most of it.
Second, “set Zone Thresholds” gives the following warning:
1. Solution exception:global name 'maxHumidity_' is not defined
However, the component is missing the max humidity input on the list, has this to do something with the error?
All the components are up to date.
I hope it will be an easy fix.

ra Designer Pro 6, but Xara is pretty good at file compatibility so you can probably open them on many versions.
You are free to use and modify these vector graphics for any project, document or webpage that is associated with Grasshopper. You do not need to credit me, though it is not allowed to pass the work off as your own without modifications.
There are no fast and hard rules when it comes to the graphics style of Grasshopper icons, but I suggest you try and mimic line-weights, contrast, saturation and arrow and point symbols when designing your own icons.
Note that all icons must be 24x24 pixels and most icons in the original set leave a 2-pixel empty border around all edges. All icons with such an empty border have a drop-shadow with the following properties:
Blur = 2 pixels
Colour = black
Transparency = 65 out of 255 (roughly 25%)
Horizontal offset = 1 pixel to the right
Vertical offset = 1 pixel downwards
I apply drop-shadows as a post-process effect in a pixel-editor, as Xara is not good at pixel effects on very small images.
