matically to a chosen density. My problem is that the result it not one solid because the union functions does not work properly. How could I change the program to solve this problem. Additionally it takes ages to create the pattern if I choose a very high horizontal and vertical division number (maybe 150 hor. and 20 ver.). At first I tried it on my laptop and I thought it crashed but when I tried it on a better computer it just took maybe 15 min to create the whole object. Do not wonder about the low units the dimension is correct.

In response to the concurrent digital evolution emerging in the architectural industry world-wide, the Faculty of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong will host a two week intensive summer program named Digital Practice.Led by professors from The University of Hong Kong, as well as invited practitioners with expertise in practice of cutting edge digital techniques, the program offers participants opportunities to experience applications of computational tools during different stages of an architectural project, i.e. concept design, form finding and optimization, delivery, management and communication of design information under the team-based working environment. Ta-dah! The jostling strategy WORKS! Granted, only in this special case where I know I'm dealing with adjacent pairs of worms along a curve, not generic objects arranged in space by some artist.
Now I just need to wrap the multiple Python script components I'm stringing together into one script.
How long does the full 2400 balls take, finally? It took 12 Python scripts that merge pairs, to achieve this breakdown: 2400 -> 1200 -> 600 -> 300 -> 150 -> 75 -> 38 -> 19 -> 9 -> 5 -> 3 -> 2 -> 1. Time was 2 minutes 50 seconds, so there is some extra struggle for 2X as many balls as 1200 that took 1 minute 20 seconds, but only ten more seconds.

Focus will be placed on the feedback mechanism between scales, investigating the continuous loop between the micro and the macro relationships that occur in public spaces. The city of New York will be the expanded site of exploration. Objetivo: reunidos em grupos de 3 participantes, se desenvolverá um projeto completo de uma luminária, utilizando plataforma CAD. Posteriormente os participantes, com a ajuda dos instrutores, deverão preparar os arquivos para a fabricação na máquina fresadora e laser. Por último as luminárias serão montadas e expostas em conjunto.
Cada participante deverá trazer um laptop com os programas instalados (“demos” do Rhinoceros, RhinoNEST, outros programas de CAD também poderão ser utilizados). Todos estes programas estarão disponíveis para serem baixados a partir do site da Escola de Design ELISAVA de Barcelona.

opening a simple file with 30 curves being lofted took like 2 minutes to complete and Rhino crashed afterwards saying:"Windows is out of memory and Rhino will close after you click ok."evethough I still had 7GB of free physical memory and my page file is set also to 16 GB just to be shure...I then switched to Rhino 5.0 Version 5 SR14 64-bit (5.14.522.8390, 05/22/2017) which also had big problems to display the lofted surface. It was unresponsive after loading the file for a minute and a half and then it normally displayed the lofted surface. Every move of camera takes at least 10 seconds to update, but at least it runs. GH profiler says the loft took only 12 ms (90%).
So I'm suspected my graphics card, because the Windows are just three weeks from a clean install. I've also updated my Graphics Driver from the stock Windows one to Intel HD one, but nothing changed.Is there something I'm missing???
