In the Forum of OctaneRender, one of the developers explained the istance and the creation of the matrix in this way:
Node Scatter: creates multiple instances, given a list of transform matrices. A matrix is given as 12 numbers, which are the first three rows of the transformation matrix. They are given in row
major order.
The coordinates in a scatter node are given as the first three rows of the transformation matrices (the fourth is always [0, 0, 0, 1]).
For instance the matrix for a 30° rotation around the Z axis looks like this:
[.87, –.50, 0, 0]
[.50, .87, 0, 0]
[ 0, 0, 1, 0]
[ 0, 0, 0, 1]
The scatter node will contain these 12 values:
.87 –.50 0 0 .50 .87 0 0 0 0 1 0
For a translation:
[1, 0, 0, tx]
[0, 1, 0, ty]
[0, 0, 1, tz]
[0, 0, 0, 1]
The scatter node will contain these 12 values:
1 0 0 tx 0 1 0 ty 0 0 1 tz
The intent is that these values will get exported from modeling applications.
There is also a placement node, that has one transform input and one geometry input, and this one transform is given as a transform node (translation, rotation, scale). The sierpinski demo scene was built with these nodes.

than 2 milliseconds, but Galapagos managed to find a solution in about 10~12 generations (with 50 individuals per generation) that was quite close to the correct result. At 15 generations the exact answer was found.
I'm still amazed at how well the solver works given that it has no understanding whatsoever of the problem (it doesn't even know there is such a thing as spatial dimensions).…

The problem I am seeing from what I hope to achieve is that there are too many holes. It seems the script continues until I can't fit in any more circles. Can we limit the overal number as a percentage or a maximum number of circles that can be generated = say 50 or 100. Can that be dynamically controlled?…
in the grasshopper. then, having the intersection points, i need a rectangle on each point in a way that the point indicates the intersection point of the rectangle`s diameters.
first problem that i`ve faced, is while defining the intersection point of the 2 layers in grasshopper, it can find the points but 49 out of 50 of them are null!!.. why?!
Also, i need to know if there is any way that i can draw a rectangle in grasshopper by having its center ( intersections of diameters) ?
