the points with panels.
I am wondering if there is a simpler way to do this so that I don't have to make 100 sections for 100 points?
I attached a small chunk of the file so far to get an idea of what I am doing currently.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks!…
cotains 5 data. if the "y" is 3, the a is 34 branch ,the branch in 1 to 33,contains 3 data,and the 34th branch contains 1 data.. i dont know how to write the python code.…
5 chunks ->
1 chunk with all items that divide circle into 3 parts.
2 chunk with all items that divide circle into 4 parts.
3 chunk with all items that divide circle into 5 parts.
etc. until items that divide circle into 7 parts.
Hope you can understand my problem.
I added image of definition below.

fine frame-by-frame. What is needed it to eliminate the transition between zero and 100, so the model only appears at 100.
1) Open mini curve editor (see image). You can click and drag this out of Max to make it bigger.
2) First select all of your models/OBJs. Your curve editor window should show scaling for all the models, and look something like what's in the attached image. From here, making sure that the "move keys" icon is selected, select all the top points of the curves. (see image)
3) While the top points are still selected, click the "set tangents to stepped" icon to eliminate the transition. It should be smooth now!…
e a regular component and an "expanded" or "advanced" component with this extended functionality
2. have some of the custom optional parameters entered in a settings component (like mesh brep + custom mesh settings)
3. Embed some of these options (if they do not need to be dynamic inputs) as component menu items (like "maintain paths" in the tree branch component)
4. (not 100% sure this last one is possible but it should be...) use a component menu as in 3. to show/hide advanced inputs. As you say the problem of hiding inputs with connections is a bit tricky but I think the most intuitive behavior is to leave the ones with connections always visible as you describe.

at deviated widely from the line connecting its end points would fail. However, I've built in a clause now that will take those curves and subdivide them into smaller segments, thereby eliminating the problem. It's not 100% perfect (the decision of how many segments to generate is somewhat arbitrary) but it seems to fix the vast majority of error cases.…
and B inputs. This gives the odd results. I replaced the B Panel with an integer slider and the Pow component works properly.
When I use a Panel for B I get the following results (A panel is 10):
B=0 R=10
B=1 R=100
B=2 R=10,000
B=3 R=100,000,000…

The problem I am seeing from what I hope to achieve is that there are too many holes. It seems the script continues until I can't fit in any more circles. Can we limit the overal number as a percentage or a maximum number of circles that can be generated = say 50 or 100. Can that be dynamically controlled?…
