faces (maked in RED, GREEB and BLUE) are shared by two zones. The small zones (in GRAY) attached to the big hall are not taken into consideration in the research.
In this case, inclined surfaces are included, as the simplification of the grandstand for spectators.
As the image shows, I have some questions:
1 - What should be the correct “surface type” of the inclined surfaces? floor?wall? or else?
(Actually, I have tried both floors and walls, but warnings shown below were received. The weird thing is that they had been assigned as floors and walls respectively having checked by the "decomposeByType" component.
2 - Can I ignore these warnings? if not, why and how can I deal with it - how to assign inclined surfaces as proper "type"?
3 - How can I get "interiorWalls"?
Although the small zones attached to the large hall are not considered in the research, I still need to assigned the shared walls as interior Walls (and set EPBC as "Adiabatic"), right? But, having checked by the "decomposeByType" component regrading walls, all I got were "walls" instead of "interiorWalls". Then, how can I get "interiorWalls" as I want?
Btw, due to the complexity of the geometry (e.g. containing inclined surfaces), I formed the thermal zone of the sports hall surface by surface using the "createHBSrfs" component as shown in above images. Do you think if it is a proper way in my case?
Any help will be much appreciated!

vided with U and V into line segments (i'd prefer to use that method instead of rectangular grid). These segments in U direction would then be rotated around V lines segments with min value of 0 and max value of 90 degrees, according to attractor (i'd like it to be image sampler in the end but for now im trying with point/multiple points). These lines would then be lofted
I post the definition below
Here are my problems (i marked them in definition):
1)i managed to get U direction line in every second row, i dont know how to get the lines between the rest (i tried shifting list, but didnt manage to get the right result).
2)Harder part - id like to measure distance between attractor point and a bottom point of lines. Than i would like to transfer it to rotation this way (distances used just as example): distance 0-20 - angle of rotation 0degrees; distance 20-30 - angle of rotation 1-90 degrees. I have no idea how to transfer it into definition. I also have problems remapping numbers to 0-90 value.
3)I'd like to do that later but i'd also like to use black-white image sampler as white - 0 angle of rotation, black - 90 degrees. I never experimented with image sampler and would be grateful for some advice how transfer colors into degree values.
I politely ask you to help me (especially with first two points i mentioned). I'm not asking for a ready definition - I would like to understand where my mistakes are.
Below i post a picture of something simmilar (although im trying to rotate it by edge, not by center line)
Pardon my english, thank you for your time and help.
Enjoy your weekend.…

use Google's API, especially if you'd like to achieve a great quantity of data without overloading Google's servers.
I used a way to request data without overloading Google's servers by using a tiling method. Obviously, this component respects the limit of 2500 requests per day.
This is how the component works:
1) set one point and its coordinates
2) generate surfaces by using isotrim component (Basically, each sub-surface is a request)
3) set the number of division of each surface and the resolution of Google static maps
4) run, move points and generate surfaces with surface from points
5) apply textures to the surfaces
In the image below another small example:
I was thinking that this should be useful for wind simulation with Butterfly, maybe.

ake this example. However, I still have minor bugs.
Whenever I save and reopen the file, I could not unclick the drop down menu to fold the additional input. See pictures below.
1. When I open the gh file.
2. The input is not folded.
3. When I click again, additional input is now duplicated with itself.
Does anyone know how to fix this situation? Any comment will be appreciated.
I attach the C# file below. Thanks! …
and Grasshopper. Recently I tried doing some test project just to see what can I do. My target is to design a small house for an atom family. Though as you might think - it'll be a parametric one. And I encountered exactly what's in the title. So here it goes: 1. Something is wrong with the measuring units in the complex profiles. I met this problem while making I-beam. In ArchiCAD it had 127/76 mm while in Grasshopper i had 127000/76200mm so a little bigger. 2. I'm unable to turn off the preview. I mean when I delete something in Grasshopper/Rhino it still exists in ArchiCAD. I have to unlock it and then delete it. 3. Coordinates for points seem broken. They have to be multiplied 1000 times to match. 4. Now one of the most important. Is it possible to somehow SHOW Grasshopper where are already made in ArchiCAD objects. Even if they'll remain still. For example I want to make a parametrical roof. Do I have to model whole building from scratch in Grasshopper or is there some fast way to "import" existing scene so I can limit my work with Grasshopper only to parametrical one. 5. Is it possible to make "points" as controlling points in AC? Like, if I'd like to make a beam in a desired place which I will mark by that point and then I will "show" Grasshopper that point and tell it to make an object in there so I can control it within grasshopper. I tried ti do this using AC Control Point but when I click "Send changes" button, Grasshopper and Rhino crush immediately. It only happens then, with control points. 6. It seems that "move" component won't work with "2D curve" component connected directly. It is possible that some of those problems are outdated. I was playing around in Grasshopper a few months ago, before summer break, but now I plan to try something new and it would be nice to know what to do. I appreciate any answer to any of those questions. Please help, you guys, are my only hope. Thanks in advance! Karol…
n the z axis I can not, here's the problem, because the movement is not only on the z axis, I can't do a serie with this vector. I tried to do it by differents columns or rows but its impossible for me.
2. Another problem. How I can fill a surface like this with tetrahedrons? What about change the size of this tetrahedrons? Is it possible like a fractal? :Si'm still working...
Thank you!
Finally I have completed the cloud!! I am a little bit fool. With the help of some sketches it was not so difficult! :).
I found the movement pattern of my tetrahedrons
Then I found the points inside my surface!
But now I cant create lines between points like in the begining of the process, with the pattern with points 1, 2, 3, 4. What I have to do?

via MIDI controllers.
my idea is to link PureData to GH via UDP. why pure data? cause' i can relate data like GH to generate numeric relations (and link it to audio generation)
so far i got PD and Processing to talk, but i can't get to grasshopper.
i use this definitions to make pd and processing to talk http://ubaa.net/shared/processing/udp/ and this GHX to get the data to GH http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/attachment/download?id=2985220%3...
i got this data from this post but the GH definition doesn't work for me. i have tried LAN definitions and "the engine" as well but they both freeze, even if i send data thru processing or PD.
i have a lot of questions at this time
1.- why processing tells me that i am getting the data from diferent ports, while i'm using 6000?
2.- why in the UDP definition i get no data out, even if it should say something like "waiting fordata/port/etc.." that's defined in the C# capsule
3.- is there a direct way to get midi data (key and CC) to GH
i also tried to use firefly to get the data via COM port. i know you can do this trick in processing but i just don't know how.
well. if anyone could help me i would share the results here (since it's a magister, results shoud be very interesting)
UDP has allways been a unsolved issue on other posts. maybe we could work it out ;)
Thanks…

s my code, so I decided to write a new simple component refreshing all time at 300 ms interval and the problem came up again. The code provoking the display exceptions and images with the erros are listed below.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
using System;using System.Drawing;using Grasshopper.Kernel;using FirstComp.Properties;using System.Timers;namespace FirstComp{ public class FirstCompGH : GH_Component { private Timer myTimer = new Timer(300); //3 veces por segundo private Random rand = new Random(DateTime.Now.Millisecond); public FirstCompGH() : base("Nombre", "Abreviado", "Descripcion", "Categoría", "SubCat") { myTimer.Elapsed += new ElapsedEventHandler(MainLoop); myTimer.Start(); } protected override void RegisterInputParams(GH_Component.GH_InputParamManager pManager) { pManager.Register_DoubleParam("Op A", "A", "Primer parámetro de la operación",0.0); pManager.Register_DoubleParam("Op B", "B", "Segundo parámetro de la operación",0.0); } protected override void RegisterOutputParams(GH_Component.GH_OutputParamManager pManager) { pManager.Register_DoubleParam("Suma", "S", "Resultado de la suma"); pManager.Register_DoubleParam("Resta", "R", "Resultado de la resta"); pManager.Register_DoubleParam("Mult", "M", "Resultado de la multiplicación"); pManager.Register_DoubleParam("Div", "D", "Resultado de la división"); } protected override void SolveInstance(IGH_DataAccess DA) { // Variables para contener los datos de entrada // Le podemos asignar algunos valores iniciales. double opA = double.NaN, opB = double.NaN; // El objeto DA recupera los datos de la entrada. // Si no hay datos de entrada abortamos. if (!DA.GetData(0, ref opA)) { return; } if (!DA.GetData(1, ref opB)) { return; } opA += rand.Next(1,10); opB += rand.Next(1,10); // Ahora realizamos las operaciones matemáticas DA.SetData(0, (opA + opB)); DA.SetData(1, (opA - opB)); DA.SetData(2, (opA * opB)); if (opB != 0) //Rhino.RhinoMath.ZeroTolerance DA.SetData(3, (opA/opB)); else { AddRuntimeMessage(GH_RuntimeMessageLevel.Error, "Error de división por cero"); return; } } public override Guid ComponentGuid { get { return new Guid("44BEA3FE-7CB8-42fe-AEC9-BE5F6EE424E8");} } protected void MainLoop(object source, ElapsedEventArgs e) { this.ExpireSolution(true); } protected override Bitmap Internal_Icon_24x24 { get { return Resources.icono; } } }}

Images showing errors.
I can't figure out what is causing these errors.
