I use Grasshopper 0.9.0056 on Rhino 5 64 bit. Does anyone know the solution for this problem?Thank you.…
ine that populates the grid in a forward/backward/left/right/up/down manner in other words only within the XYZ axis one point at a time (like a 3D hilbert curve).
For instance the starting point is at 1,1,0 (XYZ).
to move one step right is to point 2,1,0 ,
to move one step forward is to point 1,2,0
and to move upwards is to point 1,1,1.
The attached file is what i'm working on right now.
What i tried doing was i selected all 64 points and decomposed them into their XYZ coordinates and then i sorted each one of them according to their axis. so i have 3 lists of the 64 points from their smallest number to the biggest. The bad thing about this is that i need to list out the XYZ coordinates for each of the 64 points and it is quite a pain because the grid i actually wanted is way bigger than this.
i thought a better way to do that would be to somehow number each point from 1-64.
Thus i could get a system where the starting point would be point 1, point 2 is the one next to it, point 17 is the one right directly above it and the last point being point 64.
So if i want the line to:
move right/left, i would just add/subtract one.
move forward i would just add 4 (going to the next row)
and move upwards/downwards i would add/substract 16.
How could i do this in grasshopper?
I hope i explained clear enough.
Any other method/suggestion is appreciated as well!

.0 manually.
Additionally, while running on Rhino 4.0, Grasshopper requires the .NET 3.5 framework to be installed. Rhino 4.0 does not ensure this so there may be a cryptic error. You can download and install .NET 3.5 from the Microsoft website.
While running on Rhino 5.0, Grasshopper requires the .NET 4.0 (or newer) framework. Rhino 5.0 does check for this so you will be duly informed if you do not have .NET 4.0
First, try the easy installation procedure, if that doesn't work, try the more difficult one.
Locate the GrasshopperPlugin.rhp file. It should be in <ProgramFiles>/Rhinoceros 4.0/Plug-ins/Grasshopper, but it may be in a different folder depending on the access privileges of your Windows account.
Start Rhino 5.0
Drag+Drop the GrasshopperPlugin.rhp file into the Rhino 5.0 viewport
Grasshopper should now be installed and you should be able to run the _Grasshopper command.
If the above doesn't work, you may need to copy the entire Grasshopper plugin folder into the Rhino 5.0 Plug-ins folder before loading it using the same steps outlined above. Note that once you manually copy the files, they will not be uninstalled or updated automatically either.

updater successfully, but then the newest components don't work. try running the updater again and it says that the update is already installed.
Resolution:
Step 1-(If in windows, you will need modify your folder view to include "show hidden files, folders and drives" to see all the folders in this path.)
Navigate to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\Plug-ins\PanelingTools {6CAED836-BC06-4EBC-B1FD-E10886A0DC94}\2012.4.30.1332\(32 bit or 64 bit, whichever is appropriate for your machine).
NOTE: The folder name has the date. The current working version I am using is in the folder listed above) I have found that the updater sometimes does "repoint" rhino to the newest version. (that will be step 2).
There should be 3 files in this folder:(the modified date on the files should be 5/4/2012)
PanelingTools.rhp
PanelingToolsDotNet.dll
PT_SDK.dll
Right click on each of the files individually and choose properties. If there is an "Unblock" button, click it to unblock the file. Check each of the 3 files. (if the "Unblock" button is not there, then you can go to step 2).
STEP 2:
Open rhino and go to the plugin manager. scroll down to paneling tools, right click and choose properties. The file path at the bottom of the properties page should point to your folder path you verified in step 1. I have found that in some cases, after running the updater, the plugin path is still pointing to the previous version. If that is the case, close rhino, go back to the folder path in step 1 and delete any older versions, (only keep the folder 2012.4.30.1332).
Re-open rhino and reload the correct version of the plug in. After successful loading, you should have a Paneling Tools drop down you Rhino menu bar.
The above steps have only verified that the correct version of paneling tools is loaded in rhino.
STEP 3:
Download the latest PTComponentLibrary.gha and place it in your Grasshopper components folder, (delete/remove any previous instances of PTComponentLibrary.gha.)
(From within grasshopper, choose File->Special Folders->Components Folder)
Once you copy it into that folder, right click on the file and choose properties. Make sure to "Unblock" that file as well.
close and re-open rhino. launch grasshopper. You hopefully have a paneling tools tab in your grasshopper toolbars.
I don't know if this is exactly your case, but for that was the solution path for a few folks in our studio that seemed to work.

This will help with quick updates and improvements independent of the Rhino release cycle.- Paneling data is compatible between Rhino 6 Beta and earlier Rhino versions.- ptGridExtrude1 allows defining a rotation base point when you set a rotation axis (from point becomes the base).- Fixed the paneling output of partial patterns when the grid does not extend far enough to accommodate a full unit pattern.- ptWeaveGrids has now an option to weave by columns. It used to support weaving by row only.- Writing a reading managed patterns has been re-written.- Fixed a number of various bugs.Enjoy!Rajaa IssaRobert McNeel & Associates…
within the Gs window it maintains a ghosted window profile for the Tool Tip (helper). This is a new occurrence. It hasn't happened before; I've been running Gs for over 1 year.
My hardware situation is: Macbook Pro loaded with VMware and Windows 7. I've tried altering the graphics acceleration to no avail.
Can this be fixed? - it's not affecting the Gs functionality, its just making me a bit crazy.
Is there a way of disabling the Tool Tips?
Thank you!…
