one can see how the drainage paths generated from a series of fixed sources shift to find the slopes and valleys in the terrain.
For each source point, the algorithm:
1. finds the downward sloping direction
2. moves in that direction a designated distance
3. finds the closest point on the surface
4. if this new point is not higher or too close, then
5. it repeats from the new point.…
fused with those vb scripts that need their trees visible outside the component - mine is only on the interior.
I could post the code but I'm not sure how useful it would be to you - it's very specialized to a particular use,..
so back to normal arrays - anyone care to help refresh mymemory how you would make an array where each row has three columns, but the third has a list within it? would that make it a 3d array? basically a structure where each 'entry' has (0,0) and (0,1) of single integers but (0,2) is a list of integers?

and at a art show for architects and builders in North Carolina.
It will actually be a main focal point in the space. Would toy be interested in collaborating with me and kick some ideas around? Check out there stuff I usually do, wood sculpture, 3d light graffiti, etc. At http://markplaga.com Thanks again for the definition. Talk to you soon.

eply of simple mortal... you can try to make the form with surfaces, make a distribution similar to the holes of the images with points and do Voronoi 3d for intersections on surfaces. Then offset and extrude. But I recommend you the A option.…
hese to mean RhinoScriptSyntax points, and Rhino.Python will pretend that they are "normal" points. Yet they are still lists or tuples. Grasshopper has no knowledge of them, and cannot understand whether for example this is just a list of three numbers, a 3d vector or a 3d point. So if you want to obtain a point in a with RhinoScriptSyntax, do so:
import rhinoscriptsyntax as rs a = rs.AddPoint(1, 2, 3)
---
or in RhinoCommon:
from Rhino.Geometry import * a = Point3d(1, 2, 3)
These two methods yield the same result. a will be a Guid in the first example and a Rhino.Geometry.Point3d in the second. If you have "Automatically marshal Guids" in the first example, the output will not be the random Guid, but the point itself.
I hope this is useful,

ibble does on the canvas...
Why is it 3D tag anyway? There's nothing 3D about it (yet) as far as I can see... If this makes text on a plane, it should be called PlaneText... :-)
Anyway, I like this better for this application than the regular tag that makes baked dots, so thanks, Luis.
I would wish for... the option to produce the text directly as curves and of course the choice of font - the second being hard I guess, but maybe one could cast 3 or 4 commonly used fonts into the component like with panels.
If text could be produced as curves, this component could have an output. (Or maybe we just need a new component to do all that)
Also, right click-bake on this component the same as for regular tag.
