The expected results should be like that of PVGIS:

Can anyone guess the reason, or did anyone face this problem in the past? what do you think I should change?
Attached you may find the .gh file and the climate data file.
Thank you very much for your time.…
ript in both Rhino 4 and Rhino 5 it returns cell values in Rhino 4 (32-Bit) however in Rhino 5 (64-Bit) I get:
System.InvalidOperationException: The 'Microsoft.ACE.0LEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.
From what I can tell this seems to an issue caused by Rhino 5 being a 64 bit program.
Is there a different version of the dotNet Framework I should install to fix this or has slingshot just not caught up to Rhino 5?
Attached are two images of the same code in both versions of Rhino showing the error message.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete…
his problem.
@M[I]A I have tried to reinstall grasshopper and unblock it the GH file prior to installing and still it does not work. It has this sentence even before I plug any path to the ReadFile component
Before Solution exception:Could not load file or assembly '381ffdd4-2cba-4f5a-949f-b4437d95dc12.dll' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied.
I use Rhino 5 64 bit.
The strange thing is that when I try the readfile component in Rhino 32 bit, it works.
But I still need the 64 bit one.
Please advise.…
come to a mutually satisfactory agreement in a while.
Here are some of the problems we always face when trying to incorporate some 3rd party library into Rhino:
1) Must be available as both 32 and 64 bit dlls. The only reason why it took us so long to finally come up with a 64 bit Rhino was because the library we use for image reading/saving wasn't available for 64 bit systems.
2) Must run on both Windows and MacOS. Or, failing that, we must get access to the full source code so we can compile for both platforms.
3) The running cost of the license plus the investments on our end to integrate the library must be less than the additional income we can expect from this. Now, this is a very spongy topic, as no one really knows what the additional income might be, but often enough it's clear that the initial costs are just too high.
4) Once we put something into the SDK we cannot remove it without breaking all plugins. Thus, any update to the library must also be non-breaking before we can fold it into the SDK. Can we trust someone we don't know to make sure they won't break our SDK?
5) The license agreement must stipulate that RMA is allowed to use a library forever, without massive running cost changes. We had a very bad experience with a certain library that was bought by another company who subsequently refused to renew our license. Suddenly we had to drop everything we were doing for months at a time and write our own code that did the same thing, because we weren't allowed to sell any Rhino's that still used that library.
Incorporating 3rd party code into your project might sound like a quick and easy way to gain a lot of functionality, but it is a very thorny path indeed.

nitions in GH. Going to File -> Open, or just ctrl+O does nothing. I can drag and drop a definition and it opens fine. At the same time, I cannot zoom with the scroll wheel in Rhino. I can run commands just fine, but zooming must be done via ctrl + rmb + drag.
Oh, and one last thing. I also loose the ability to 'compile' scripted components, well, at least the C# ones anyways.
The weirdest thing, is that sometimes, I get the behavior, just very delayed. Almost as if there is some asynchronous calls that for some reason are being blocked, but then eventually resolve. This is not always detectable, but for the scriprint components, sometimes this happens. I press OK, the component does not close, I keep pressing OK, component does not close, I close it with the X on the upper right corner, a few minutes later, the script updates to the changes I made.
Closing GH and Rhino and restarting makes this behavior go away, but very annoying nonetheless. This happens every day, eventually about 30 minutes or so after I begin a new session of Rhino / GH.
Sorry I cannot provide more info.
Windows 7 Pro x 64, Rhino 5 x 64, Grasshopper for Rhino 5 0.9.0014, a steaming heap of add-ons for GH (maybe there is an issue here...).…
rrect, the heat balance of a zone is always 0 = Qcool/heat + Qinf + Qvent + Qtrans + Qinternalgains + Qsol. These parameters also correspond with the readEPresult element. However, if i sum up these values there is a slight deviation.
The deviation is greater during daytimes and in winter, suggesting it has something to do with the heating values.
Attached you'll find an image of the energy plus outputs that I use and the resulting -.CSV file that I constructed. In this you'll see that the balance does not add up.
Am i missing some energy flows?
Thanks for the help.

could not find the panelingtoolsdotnet.dll
I replaced it with the "B" version and now the assembly does not want to load at all.
The paneling tool commands are working fine in Rhino and the three files (rhp 2 dlls) are in the rhino 5 plugins folder. I am running 64 bit 5.0
Any special install instructions for the gha file? …
