circuit like pattern so I dont want any line going back and forth, the img above is the rules I think need to add from your solution, my current idea is using split tree for separating the 4 "walls", but i am not sure how to restrict the direction of the lines. Also do you have idea on how to create more "longer/straighter" line instead of a bunch of short zigzag line?…
per autosave folder :(. It is very simple but I can't figure it out since a friend showed me how to do it. There are three surfaces one directly above the other with random points generated on each. I want a line to pass through each of the points (1 to 1 to 1, 2 to 2 to 2, 3 to 3 to 3, etc) to get three lines. or however many points there are on the surface. I want the line to pass through the point as a curve, not a perfectly straight line. I have attched my rhino and grasshopper definition showing the begining of the defintion and failed attempts. All help is appreciated. Thank you

uare sweep along all of the lines in my project and it works out great.
Only issue is that it sweeps all lines with the same size "beam". I'm looking for a solution to change that. To keep the same sweep profile, but for line length to change the size of the sweep.
for example, say one line is 10 feet long and another is 5 feet long, the 10 foot sweep should be wider than the sweep done on the 5 foot line.
I hope that is clear enough.
If anyone has any help, it would be greatly appreciated. …
how would I feed this into a loop? is is it possible since my definition is culling the indices of the previous endpoints? tried using anemone but couldn't figure it out
b. can I cleanly extract all the curves after rounds of looping?
thanks! …
h line has.
What I need is to connect for example point number 1 on one line, to point number two on the next line, to point number 4 on the next line and so on. Always multiplying by 2. The lines are dividided by the result of 2 to the power of (2, 3, 4, 5, etc). As you might see, the lines get more dense as you go down.
My problem is that I can't find the way to connect each number in one branch to its double in the other without doing it manually.
Thankyou!…

I tried with a txt file in english but throws the same error :

Any ideas? A bit in a hurry. Thank you.

height of the facade and then by using evaluate curve and graph mapper divide the line with a non-linear distribution. In the end, we will talk about the "Relative Item" component and how it can help us connect the point together.…
ows me to set a curve/line, divide it into smaller segments, and bend (probably by adding "gravity" in kangaroo) the sections depending on the distance on the between endpoints of the sections.
Actually quite much like textile blinds. Now, the conundrum i've got, is the distancing of the division points, along the line.*drawing*
As with textile blinds when stretched out the line is straight
BUT when shortening down the overall length of the line, only one section gets squeezed at a time. and the rest of the points get pulled in the same direction.Anyone understand what I mean, and got an idea as to how this should/could be done?
P.S.Image added actually shows quite exactly the movement i'm looking for..…
