e a list of coordinates which I need to sort in groups as per a series of numbers in another list. Both are txt files which I'm reading to bring a series of points in but those points are generated with a corresponding index.
Of course the lists are not sorted in any way, but the numbers are corresponding so it looks like a series of 9, 6, 7, 2, 8, 0, 9, 5, 6, 4, 2, 3, 8, 5, 5, 6, 9, 4 in one file( and series of (X, Y, Z) coordinates in the other.
The question is how can I make it to sort the list and then split it per index... if it is possible... or should I just do this in excel and bring clean lists in?
My idea, if it works, is use the series of points to generate paths and work with them.
I'll attach the lists just if it helps making a clear idea.
Any advice will be very welcome.…

I was thinking to use somehow slider and animate option....but without luck
Any idea would be appreciated…
cept. Let's say you want to generate sun vectors for working hours. Let's say that people are working in an office from 8 to 17. It means they will leave at 5pm so the data for hour 5 shouldn't be generated. Does it make any sense to you! I tried to match Ladybug sunpath with daysim logic but I agree that it's not what comes to mind first when you hear 8 to 5.

PS: I like the time-saving component up there. How do you deal with the cutting hour?…
Points array to X-Y
2)Delete some points from array randamnly.
3)Move position of points array randamnly
4)Connect those poits array to Voronoi component
Simulate frpm 1) to 3) until favorite Voronoi created.
5)Get some poitns from Voronoi lines
6)Create periodic curves from those points
7)Bake into Rhino and modify shape as you want
8)MapSurf to base surface then split…
and says "repeat every Nth element", meaning say if N was 3, I would get A B C C D E F F G H. I would also like to be able to then insert a list of 3 elements in between each of the repeats. For example, I wanted to insert: 1. 1
2. 2
3. 3 into the list, I would get A B C 1 2 3 C D E F 1 2 3 F G H. It seems like an easy task, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it, I must be making a very basic mistake. I am new to grasshopper, so any and all help I could get would be GREATLY appreciated!…
w you do it:
1. Divide surface (didn't repeat the proportional solution)
2. Explode
3. find surface center normal [Evaluate Surface(reparameterize, point (0.5, 0.5, 0))]
4. Offset corner points (V) +/- whatever distance you want along the normal in [3].
5. Create a twisted cornerbox from the two sets of offset corner points
6. Create a Box around any choosen BRep
7. do a Box Morph on the selected Brep from the box in 6. to the TBox from 5.
8. Tada!
Oh and if the base surface is proportional to the base box the end result wont get warped like in my picture.
