going at the same time. I am trying to build an engine in Grasshopper that will do the following things:
1) Display a surface that will flex and bend in relationship to the frequencies of the 8 sine waves.
2) Allow me to take a snapshot of the topology of the the plane of each moment of the piece of music.
3) Possibly allow me to create a 3D form of that specific moment in time, thereby allowing me to create a 3d print or fashion a sculptural form from the waveforms.
I am a relative newbie on Rhino and Grasshopper, so any help would be most appreciated.

ck bg layer, click layer from bg
3c. select color range (greens)
3d. delete
3e. save as
4. photoshop automate batch with that action.
that should give you all the sequential images w/ transparent background.
of course, if you have a lot of green in your image, you'll need to pick a different color for replacement...…
hot of it near completion (Assignment#4). Start thinking about scale as well - do you want to print the whole thing at a small scale - or do you want to 3d print one full sized block and just lasercut a scale model?…
ded Rhino/Grasshopper files.
The purpose is to link the 2D module with the 3D surface or in another word map the 2D module onto the surface, and make grasshopper understand that it needs to grab the 4 intersection points (nodes created by surface division command, 4%20intersecting%20nodes.jpg) as the starting point for generating the module.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Hessam…
