has to be six times longer than the ellipse. So you can say:
2*Pi*o = 6*l (l = ellipse length)
solve for o:
o = 3*l/Pi
You can do this with simple Grasshopper components:

on and am first testing out a simplified version. Basically I took the vertices of a L-shaped curve and shifted them according to an attractor point and now I need to reconnect the vertices. I don't know which components to use to tell GH to start from one point and connect it to pt 2, 3, 4.. to create the L shape curve. Also, how can I loft every 2 curves to create the L-shaped volumes/units?…
segments (ie. polylines)
2 = conic section (ie. arcs, circles, ellipses, parabolas, hyperbolas)
3 = standard freeform curve
5 = smoother freeform curve
The higher the degree, the less effect a single control-point has on the curve, but the further that weak effect reaches. Degree=5 curves are smoother, but it's also harder to add local details to it without adding a lot of control points. Rhino supports curves up to degree=11, but you almost never need more than 5.…
ll these 12500 points.
Group 1 would represent the point located at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 etc.
Group 2 - 1, 6, 11, 16, 21 etc.
Group 3 - 2, 7, 12, 17, 22 etc.
Group 4 - 3, 8, 13, 18, 23 etc.
Group 5 - 4, 9, 14, 19, 24 etc.
I can create the pattern but the selection of points are all the points in row 0 and then all the points in row 5 and so on.
I would like the selection of points to start at the bottom left, and sequentially continue to the right and then continue on the 2nd row (left to right & bottom to top). i am hoping the pattern i am trying to achieve is more understood with the quick screen capture I uploaded.
the end goal is to be able to select all the points in the grid that are in each pattern.
Thanks in advance for any guidance with this. …

1 jour ( Atelier ) : mercredi 22 septembre
Introduction à la conception Paramétrique . Rhinoscript, Grasshopper: différences et similarités . Interface
graphique de Grasshopper . Objets, Données, Listes . Opérateurs scalaires : La mathématique de
Grasshopper . Gestions des données : la logique de Grasshopper . Vecteurs, Points, Lignes, Surfaces : La
géométrie de Grasshopper . Listes, Arbres, Branches . Le dessin paramétrique: exercices divers et exemples

ndex of the list you want to draw from for that index number.
4. graft the new list of integers
5. use the list item component, with the merged grafted lists into L, and the new list of integers into i.
6. flatten the resulting list.
Example:
list A: list B: list C:
100 200 300
101 201 301
102 202 302
103 203 303
104 204 304
Integer List:
0
0
2
1
2
list item component returns:
100
101
302
203
304
I hope this is clear enough - and close enough to what you were trying to do.

10 curve
11 curve
12 curve
13 curve
...and I'd like to rearrange the order in which the curve are listed, to something like this:
{0,0,0}
0 curve
1 curve
8 curve
9 curve
10 curve
11 curve
2 curve
3 curve
4 curve
5 curve

7 curve
I hope this makes sense.
Thank in advance for any advice,
