it works:) Thank you.
Is it possible to attach other kind of components such as plane, guid boolean toggles and ect?
If the slider is detached, how can I still have default value?
And the correct way of looping is this?
public override void AddedToDocument(GH_Document document) { base.AddedToDocument(document);
for (int i = 0; i < 2; i++) { Param_Number numberInput = Params.Input[i+2] as Param_Number; if (numberInput == null) return; if (numberInput.SourceCount > 0) return; if (numberInput.PersistentDataCount > 0) return; Attributes.PerformLayout(); int x = (int)numberInput.Attributes.Pivot.X - 250; int y = (int)numberInput.Attributes.Pivot.Y - 10; GH_NumberSlider slider = new GH_NumberSlider(); slider.SetInitCode("0.00<180.00<180.00"); slider.CreateAttributes(); slider.Attributes.Pivot = new PointF(x, y); slider.Attributes.ExpireLayout(); document.AddObject(slider, false); numberInput.AddSource(slider); } }…

If you want to import the whole data, you need to combine all the .xyz files first. Since there is some 6.32 Gb of data in the set you mention, it will probably take a long time and possibly crash, especially if you have little RAM. I tried it with one of the 124MB files and it worked fine, but takes around 25 seconds, so doing a quick calculation should take around 25 minutes for all of them. DTM does have a little window that shows you its progress though, which is nice.

-23, 2012, as part of the US Pavilion exhibit Spontaneous Interventions : Design Actions for the Common Good.
The workshop agenda will be to re-engage the historic interdependence between the city of Venice and the greater Venetian lagoon, through proposing a programmed, ecological re-development of the many dozens of abandoned islands that litter the lagoon’s outer horizon; Such work may be essential to Venice’s future, even as it mirror’s the city, and the lagoon’s historic interdependence.
Up to 20 participants will join Nicholas de Monchaux, a featured exhibitor in Spontaneous Interventions, workshop co-director Sandro Bisa, and a range of local architects, landscape ecologists, and urbanists for three days together in the lagoon. As well as background information on the lagoon, its changing ecology, and landscape of abandoned territory, the workshop will involve an introduction to the parametric urban design software —Local Code and the Finches plug-in — developed by de Monchaux and his collaborators at UC Berkeley. Participants will have the opportunity to have design work leading from the workshop exhibited at the pavilion, (as part of a rotating display) from October 25 until November 25.
A part of the Bienalle’s scheduled activities, the workshop is free of charge to participants, including boat transport around the lagoon, and one night of lodging in the lagoon islands (subject to confirmation). Participants are responsible for their own transportation to Venice, as well as local lodging outside of the field visit. The primary language of the workshop will be English.
Applications are open to any interested partipant, and will be considered on a rolling basis until September 15, 2012, or until all slots are filled. for application details, visit http://venice.localco.de…
t settings as I have deliberately located the license file in a folder that should be accessible by all users).
Do you have your own computer you can run it on? It will work with evaluation Rhino if you have not exhausted your 25 saves. And there is presently a 3 month unlimited save evaluation for v5 (although I don't know that you can run v4 when it expires).
Cheers,
Jon…
16-20 / PUEBLA JULY 23-27
This workshop is intended primarily for architects and designers interested in learning parametric and generative design applied to the generation and rationalization of complex geometries for their implementation in different design processes. The course will cover basic concepts and methodology to address many design issues through the development of algorithmic tools via a visual programming language and the development of digital fabrication schemes. Rhinoceros 3D and Grasshopper are going to be used as our modeling tools and V-Ray as our rendering engine. Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm and from 4pm to 8pm 40hrs.
No previous knowledge of Rhinoceros 3D or programming required, CAD background desirable.

t list is accurate.
The list with chances are all decimals between 0 and 1, added together giving one. They can be seen as a percentage. To illustrate my question, a very simpple example:
List 1: A, B, C, D
List 2: 0.125, 0.25, 0.5, 0.125
This means a 12.5% chance of A, a 25% chance of B etc.
How to 'randomly' pick one item from list 1, taking the probability as given in list 2 in account?
Thanks in advance,
Sander
