Galapagos optimization, using Karamba?

I tried to play a little bit with optimization (minimazing) of the deflection, the way you did with galapagos. Worked perfectly although it took me some 20 hours to complete the galapagos calculation.

Is there any other way of optimizing structures, using Karamba? Except for minimizing the maximum disposition of nodes?

    Have a read of the literature regarding BESO. Its a structural topology tool that can help. If you want to understand do a search for "TopOpt" and play with the tool on their website. Its a good introduction to BESO.

      I did not find any literature regarding the "BESO designer" component from Karamba.

       

       

      Karamba 0.9.7. goes without any manual or text file, only an installation .exe file.

       

      What did you mean, when you said TopOpt? This:
