Salts is the sail training organization that takes trainees out on the tall ships that moor down in the inner harbour. www.salts.ca
I'd love to see what kind of work you are doing with manufacturing. I have been a bit interested in manufacturing with digital tools myself. Do you have a website I could look at?
We are currently in the process of designing a new sailing vessel for the organization and are looking for ways to manufacture a scale models for tow tank and wind tunnel testing.
We are interested in your router, for sure. We need one that can mill something with a depth of 2.5' and is 5 axis. We are looking at one in Vancouver right now.
We would love to show you what we are up to here in Victoria. Unfortunately, the lead designer is moving back to Eugene for the winter (he teaches at the university of oregon - where I just graduated from), and won't be back until december. If you are down in Victoria, feel free to stop by the salts office. Check out the website, www.salts.ca.
