wiktor/michael, it is filtered with photoshop. vray produces a really nice range/grain of detailed variation, the grain is a combination of noise applied through a lens blur and hdr toning to the original v-ray image. if you turn up the f-number in the v-ray physical camera settings you can get the rendering into a value range that looks somewhat dull with the initial rendering, but gives you a rich enough value range for you to get the rest of the way to this kind of effect in photoshop.
