Stream Valley Sections

Created 50'x1000' strip sections of a stream valley using a TIN with slope gradient applied. Red=greatest slope yellow=smallest slope

The sections were derived from the a delaunay mesh.

-I isolated the points of the mesh along a section cut

-applied a slope gradient to the mesh so the points would be color coded according to slope in all directions

-connected with a point on the base plane (z=0)

-So, density of lines indicates complexity of landscape, the more dense (and more red) the more complexity in all directions (not just along the section cut)

    Thanks for the explanation!
