A sequence of alternately subdividing and planarizing, to end up with an all planar-quad panelization with over 2000 faces (curvature analysis shown above).
Done with Weaverbird and Kangaroo.
I have not been able to achieve similar results with Kangaroo's planarizing features. Perhaps I have a bad combination of stiffness/restlength/planarization strength... but my meshes always buckle and self destruct before achieving planarity. Can you give some hints on methods?
