    So, with this periodic boundary... you just have to do laplacian smoothing (a lot) to get the actual minimal surface ?

    Hi Mateusz,

    Laplacian smoothing would be one way of doing it, but in the image above I've used different warp and weft tensions to control the solid/void ratio. I've now posted an example definition at the bottom of the page here.
