Or was rhino used and then you assigned deffiniton to given lines/curves/etc....

thanks for the kind words! the project is actually due tomorrow.  I'll be sure to load the latest images.

I started everything with a polysurface for every tower, essentially central circulation cores.  The start of the grasshopper definition trims them all against each other, then joins all of the surfaces before the mesh component.  I'll post a high res image of the gh script when I get a chance.
