Hello,

I am looking for a way to export lines developed in grasshopper to an autocad file.  I understand localcode (finches) can do this but I am not sure how this is implemented.  Does anyone have any code examples, images, etc they can share?

    Why not just bake the curves into rhino and then save the file as DWG?

      Hi erik,

      you should be able to change the format of exported files by simply changing the file extension on the fiename input for the finches export component. So 'myfile.ai' would export an Adobe Illustrator file, while 'myfile.dwg' would export a dwg file.

      These export methods use the settings from the last export you did in Rhino. So if you want to change the export settings, just do a manual export of any geometry, and adjust the settings as you like. The next time you export with the Finches Export component it should use those same settings.
