Is gps phone tracking under 5 meters realistic?

If a service claims less than 5-meter accuracy worldwide using GPS, cell towers, and WiFi triangulation, how reliable are those results in real urban or rural conditions?

Achieving GPS accuracy under 5 meters is realistic in 2026, especially in open outdoor areas with a clear sky view where high-quality receivers can reach 2–3 meters. However, in dense "urban canyons" or indoors, signals often bounce off buildings, causing multipath errors that reduce precision. To see how these technologies perform in different environments, click here for a technical breakdown of how hybrid triangulation combines satellites and WiFi to stabilize your tracking results.
