SHS in KarambaIDEA

Hey Rayaan

Great plugin you've created! I am working with it at the moment and its proving very useful. However I was wondering if you are planning on including SHS in shape definitions of sections? I checked the script on Github and I see SHS are not explicitly accepted. I tried various ways to define SHS in my model but every push to IS failed. Thank you :)

    I am quite new to KarambaIDEA and I think it has huge potential but I am also having some difficulty with SHS. 

    I have tried to use the inbuilt weld all templates however when the joint opens in IdeaStatica all the operations have been replaced with contact operations. This creates a singularity as the members are not actually connected.

    I have also tried creating my own template using the cut operation. This same issue occurs.

    I would be interested to know if anybody had managed to use SHS in any of their joints.

      Hi Habiba,

      SHS should work as well. Are you using Karamba3D up front? You could change the sections to SHS sections and this should do the trick.

      The shape of SHS is defined as "[]" similar to RHS sections.

        Yeah, I agree with you. I also love this plugin. I found this plugin mistakenly because I was searching for a site online where I could find an essay writer who would write my essay for me in Canada and I found my answer on this https://canadianwritings.com/ website as well as, I found this plugin. I also want to know if they are planning on including SHS in shape definitions of sections and I am glad I found my answer here.
