DIVA for Rhino

DIVA-for-Rhino is a plugin which runs thermal, daylight, solar radiation, and glare simulations. Our goal is to bring validated environmental simulations directly to the conceptual design environments of Rhino and Grasshopper.

Strange DIVA-results - geometry/materials missing?

Hi guys,

I have a problem, which I hope you can assist with. I run DIVA version 4.1.0.12 in Rhino 5, and have been using the program for a few years with success. However, now I have a problem where I experience unrealistic results when running simulations for different models - both simple and complex ones.

As you can see in the picture Test box when running a very simple model, the DF is 100pct in all of my calculation nodes. Notice, all of my layers are turned on and there is a roof when running the simulation.

Pic. 2 show a more detailed model with a clipping plane inserted afterwards, where the result is also 100pct. in all of my nodes.

I have also tried changing the materials, uninstalling, reinstalling, an older version of DIVA.

I have also tried sending the models to my colleagues, who successfully can run the model showing realistic results. Based on this I assume it is a software issue...

The last picture is from the .rad file created by DIVA when running the simulation - so something goes wrong on my computer - but what? I hope you guys can help me...
