Beam Custom Plane

Is there a way to input a custom plane for a beam in order to set the up or normal vector of that beam?

    Hello Dennis, Would it work to measure the angle of that plane against the xy-plane (using e.g. the normal vectors) and give that angle to the rotation input (converted to degrees)?
