VisualARQ Grasshopper Components allows to create and work with VisualARQ architectural objects inside Grasshopper.
You can create easily walls, doors, windows, openings, beams, columns, roofs, slabs, stairs and railings and obtain their information (area, volume, length, etc...)
Once the VisualARQ geometry is baked, it turns into workable VisualARQ objects inside Rhino. Then you can use the VisualARQ features to create section drawings, floor plans, schedule tables, etc.. and export the full model in IFC file format into BIM platforms such as Revit, ArchiCAD, Tekla, etc...
The VisualARQ Grasshopper Components are automatically installed when installing VisualARQ.
Hi everybody, I am creating a Shed roof with Grasshopper components but I don t see any option to specify the roof axis start point that you can specify when creating that type of roof directly in Rhino. As a result I am not able to determine the exact position I need for the roof. Can anybody help me on this?

Hi Orlando, the shed and gable roofs take their ridge axis position from the middle point of their boundary curve, and up to the 1.9 version it's not possible to determine this axis position in roofs created from GH. We need to add this option to the "Roof Options"Component. I'll let you know when this option is available. Meanwhile you will need to move/rotate the roof until it's placed in the desired position.
