I went thru advanced tutorial with waffling and im encountering a problem when tutorial definitions is working on geometry with holes.

On the left side of attached example You can see waffle slice and on the right result elements layed separately on surface.

Any ideas what im doing wrong?

i want to achieve series of slices without any joints, just with holes in right location.

any clues?
